I want what she's got....

My hair has always been the bane of my life - mousy brown, thin and flat.  However I style it, whatever product, however much product the minute I walk out of the door, whatever the weather, it looks as if I haven't washed never mind combed it.

Many a time I looked at envy at women who have sleek bobs -not a hair out of place, long pre-raphelite  curls, an effortless but classy ponytail, natural & messy just got out of bed look....

Whatever my financial position I have always found the money for a good haircut - at the moment I'm going to http://thehairdressersnottingham.co.uk/ - it's fabulous with friendly staff.  They've seen me through that horrible hair growing period of just above the ears to below my shoulders - I want just another couple of inches growth to get the length I've long envied.

My best friends at the moment are my hairdryer, straighteners and or Velcro rollers plus salt spray from Superdrug - http://www.superdrug.com/.  Great for that beach look, rough and ready.  Think Kate Moss or Giselle.  It's fantastic - it holds my hair naturally in place.  Directions are to spray in and scrunch it up for that messy beach bum style - it gives pump up the volume for loads of natural texture and oomph.

Colour wise - I've gone through so many shades over the years from blonde to black and everything in between.  At the moment I'm loving John Frieda Precision Foam Medium Chocolate Brown.  It's easy to apply.  No drips on the carpet is a bonus.  I've been complimented on the colour many times with people thinking it was a salon treatment!

So for someone who wishes they had someone elses hair - I quite like mine at the moment!

Shoes!

Whatever the outfit a good pair of shoes is a must.  I recently bought these from Marks and Spencer (http://www.marksandspencer.com) - sexy, gorgeous (and comfortable!)
